My Contribution

Maintained and upgraded the android telepresence actuation and wiring hardware — electromechanical support contributing to the HRI 2011 workshop paper.

Development & Validation

  • Maintained and upgraded the dense servo actuation and wiring loom driving the android's facial expressions and head movement.
  • Bench-level rebuild work spanning skin, servo, and controller maintenance kept the platform running for HRI research.
  • Contributed to 'Steps towards affordable android telepresence', presented at the HRI 2011 workshop.
