Challenge, contribution, and outcome
CHALLENGE
The RTA Dubai World Challenge required a competition-ready delivery octarotor that could fly and demonstrate under real autonomous-transport conditions.
MY CONTRIBUTION
Designed and integrated the delivery octarotor mechatronics and supported competition deployment that won First Prize at the RTA Dubai World Challenge.
OUTCOME
Won First Prize (USD 100,000) and produced a peer-reviewed mechatronic design paper on the delivery octarotor.
Narrative
First-prize delivery octarotor for the RTA Dubai World Challenge for Self-Driving Transport — a mechatronic aerial logistics platform demonstrated under competition conditions in Dubai, with USD 100,000 prize recognition and a peer-reviewed mechatronic design paper.
